Vinay Kumar Patel, Ph.D., is a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Govind Ballabh Pant Institute of Engineering and Technology, Pauri, Garhwal, Uttarakhand, India. He earned his Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India, for research in nanofabrication and combustion characterization of highly energetic metal oxide/ nano-aluminium composites for pyrotechnics and gene transfection applications. His research interests include nano-energetic materials, MEMS, welding, and tribology.

Rishi Kant, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Harcourt Butler Technical University Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. He received his Ph.D. for research work in MEMS and microfluidics. His research interests include micro-/nanofabrication of various polymers, manufacturing for development of IoT-based sensors and actuators for emerging applications in the biomedical, energy, and environmental fields.

Pankaj Singh Chauhan, Ph.D., is a C. V. Raman Fellow at the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. His research includes synthesis and characterization of nanomaterials, especially conductive polymers, metal oxides, noble metal nanoparticles, and carbon-based materials.

Shantanu Bhattacharya, Ph.D., is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur, India. Dr. Bhattacharya is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, London, the Institution of Electronics and Tele-communication of India, and the Institution of Engineers (India) and is a senior member of IEEE.
