Timothy A. Gessert, Ph.D., is the owner of Gessert Consulting, LLC, established in 2016. Dr. Gessert served on the Board of Directors for the American Vacuum Society from 2014–2016 and is the current Chair of the AVS Education Committee. He is also a member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and an associate editor for the journal Thin Solid Films. Dr. Gessert was formerly Principal Scientist and Manager of the Thin-Film Photovoltaics Group at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.
