Jun Xia, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at University at Buffalo, the State University of New York. He received his doctorate in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, where he studied applied optics. After graduation, he worked as a post-doctoral fellow at Washington University in St. Louis, where he focused on photoacoustic imaging. Regine Choe, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Rochester. She earned her doctorate in Physics from the University of Pennsylvania, where she continued her post-doctoral training on diffuse optics.
