Giacomo Giorgi, Ph.D., is Associate Professor in Chemistry at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (DICA), University of Perugia, Italy. His research focuses on the ab-initio study of electronic and optical properties of materials for solar-to-energy conversion. In 2017 he was a Guest Editor of the volume “Theoretical Modeling of Organohalide Perovskites for Photovoltaic Applications” (CRC Press). Among the several collaborations he keeps, the most longstanding is with the University of Tokyo where he was Senior Researcher and later an Assistant Professor.
