Crispin Gardiner, D. Phil., is an Honorary Professor at the University of Otago, Dunedin, New Zealand. He served as Research Professor and Director of the Dodd-Walls Centre for Quantum Science and Technology at the University of Otago, and Chairperson of Physics at the University of Waikato, Hamilton, New Zealand. He is the author of nearly 120 journal articles and multiple books, including the Handbook of Stochastic Methods, 4th Edition (Springer). Dr. Gardiner is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Physics and the American Physical Society.
