John Lekner, Ph.D., is an Emeritus Professor of theoretical physics at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand. After earning his M.Sc. at the University of Auckland and Ph.D. from the University of Chicago, he worked at the Cavendish Laboratory and lectured at the University of Cambridge before returning to New Zealand. Dr. Lekner's fields of interest are statistical physics, electromagnetism, quantum theory, and theory of fluids. He has authored 160 papers and books on wave reflection, electromagnetic pulses, and electromagnetic beams.
