Roberto Caputo, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor and member of CNR-NANOTEC at the Physics Department of the University of Calabria, Italy and is a Visiting Professor at the University of Troyes, France. Dr. Caputo is a management committee member of the COST action CA16220, and served as Vice-Chair for the European COST Action IC1208, “Integrating devices and materials: a challenge for new instrumentation in ICT” from 2014–2016. He is the author of over 80 peer-reviewed articles, several book chapters, dozens of invited communications to scientific conferences, and he holds four international patents. His research focuses on the study and realization of micro- and nano-scale functional systems in organic composite materials.

Giuseppe Emanuele Lio, Ph.D., is a Research Fellow at the National Institute of Optics CNR-INO and European Laboratory for Non-Linear Spectroscopy, LENS in Florence. From April to July 2017, he spent a period of internship at the University of Technology of Troyes, France. Recently, he was invited as Research Scholar in the NanoPlasm Lab at the Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, USA. He is the author of several papers focused on photopolymerization, nano-scale fabrication, numerical simulations, and experimental measurements in optics, photonics and plasmonics.
