Zivan Zabar, Ph.D., is Professor Emeritus of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the Tandon School of Engineering (previously Brooklyn Poly), New York University, USA. His areas of expertise are electric power systems, electric drives, and power electronics. He received the Distinguished Teacher Award and served as the Head of the ECE Department. He received the Lady Davis Fellowship from The Technion—Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa, Israel. His work on industry and government projects was published in patents and in many technical journals.
