Saurabh Basu, Ph.D., joined the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati, India, in 2003, where he is a Senior Professor of Physics. He supervised many Ph.D. students and is the author of over 100 scientific publications across many peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Basu's teaching areas include advanced topics in quantum mechanics, statistical physics, mathematical methods, and condensed matter physics.

Sourav Chattopadhyay, Ph.D., has been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics at ICFAI University Tripura since 2022. He completed his master's and doctoral programs at IIT Guwahati. He pursued Physics (Hons.) from the Scottish Church College, Kolkata. His primary research interest is computational statistical mechanics both equilibrium and out-of-equilibrium with an emphasis on magnetism. He has a keen interest in numerical simulations of physics problems and coding.
