Lampros A. A. Nikolopoulos, Ph.D., is Associate Professor in the School of Physical Sciences at Dublin City University in Ireland. His research expertise is in theory and computation of intense laser-atom dynamics. He worked in several high-profile research institutes, including the Institute of Electronic Structure/IESLFORTH, Greece; the Max–Planck Institute for Quantum Optics/MPQ, Garching, Germany; the Physics and Astronomy Institute, Aarhus, Denmark; the School of Mathematics and Physics, QUB, United Kingdom; and others. Dr. Nikolopoulos is the author of one other book, more than 90 peer-reviewed articles, and co-editor of a special issue for the Journal of Modern Optics (Taylor & Francis).
