Focus and Coverage

In 1962, the Acoustical Society of America decided to expand the scope of its magazine NOISE Control to provide broader coverage and to serve a wider audience. The title of the magazine was changed to Sound: Its Uses and Control, and the first issue was published in January 1962. Sound: Its Uses and Control was published by the Acoustical Society of America during the period from 1962 to 1963.
