Publication Charges Waiver Policy
Article Processing Charge Waivers and Discounts Policy
The Acoustical Society of America (ASA) is dedicated to ensuring authors are capable of publishing in JASA Express Letters regardless of economic status. Therefore, we offer full and partial waivers of the article processing charge (APC) to corresponding authors residing in countries identified by Health InterNetwork Access to Research Initiative (Hinari), which are listed below.
If you do not reside in an eligible country and truly cannot afford the APC, we will consider requests for waivers and discounts from corresponding authors. Waivers and discounts are reviewed on a case-by-case basis, and determination of whether to grant such requests is at our discretion. To request a waiver or discount, ASA asks that you submit any requests at the point of submission. Please submit requests to jasael@acousticalsociety.org.
