A waveguide for the measurement of oblique plane‐wave reflection from absorbents has been constructed. The device operates in the 1‐kHz region. The unique feature of the guide is its moving wall, which permits a range of angles of incidence at a single frequency. Impedance of flexible polyurethane foam has been measured as a function of angle of incidence.
