New Solution-processed Perovskites and Perovskite-inspired Optoelectronic Materials and Devices
Solution processed lead halide perovskites demonstrated unprecedented success in solar cell applications thanks to their defect tolerance and facile solution-based processing. Global scaleup and acceptance by consumers, however, requires further improving perovskites' stability and reducing or even eliminating any toxic metals.
This Special Topic highlights the most recent research on improving state-of-the-art lead halide perovskites, as well as the emerging areas associated with novel solution processed perovskite-inspired and Pb-free optoelectronic materials with desired properties. We welcome a broad scope of topics in materials discovery, physical properties, and application in devices, both experimental and computational.
