In the paper,1 the abstract, discussion, and conclusion sections refer to Ti ∼ 1.2 keV during LHI. This is a number taken from Figure 3(b), which was calculated using an incorrect linear dispersion. After correcting this error, these statements should be revised to Ti ∼ 500 eV. The conclusions of this paper are not altered by the lower Ti. Te estimates are unchanged at 50–100 eV and thus Ti > Te during LHI driven discharges.
