An interface circuit between a capacitance meter (PAR 410) and a microcomputer (Apple II) is presented. The interface circuit is constituted by a 12‐bit D/A converter and a 10‐bit A/D converter. A program has been written which utilizes the capacitance measurement for determination of physical parameters on both MOS devices and Schottky barrier diodes. The circuit is of general usefulness and can be adapted for other applications where capacitance measurements are of interest.
