Vadim Grigorievich Manzhelii was an outstanding experimental physicist, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1970), Professor (1972), Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (1990), Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine (1998), Honorary Professor of the Institute of Low Temperatures and Structural Research Polish Academy of Sciences (2004), winner of the State Prize of the Ukrainian SSR (1977), State Prize of the USSR (1978), Prize named B. I. Verkin of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (2000). He was awarded the Orders of the Badge of Honor (1983), Orders of Merit, III degree (2003), Orders of Merit, II degree (2009), Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (2008), Honorary badges of distinction of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine “For Science Achievement” (2008) and “For the preparation of scientific change” (2010), an honorary distinction of the Kharkiv Regional Council “Slobozhanska Glory” (2008), Honorary citizen...
