Different ways of modeling small magnetic particles of yttrium orthoferrite are proposed. Monte Carlo methods are used to study the static critical properties of these models. The conventional formalism of power-law functions is used to calculate the main static critical exponents for the proposed models, and their universality classes are determined. It is shown that models of small magnetic particles of YFeO3 are described mainly by the Ising universality class of critical behavior. The results can explain the contradiction between the experimentally observed and theoretically predicted pictures of critical behavior of small magnetic particles of yttrium orthoferrite.
