The velocity slip and temperature jump coefficients for rarefield gas flows at gas-solid interfaces are reviewed. Available theoretical and experimental data for pure gases and binary mixtures are critically reviewed, and examples are given of applications in various fluid-flow situations.

Solid-liquid solubility data are reviewed for nonaqueous binary, ternary, and multicomponent systems in which one component is 2-, 3-, or 4-hydroxybenzoic acid, or a 4-hydroxybenzoate alkyl ester (paraben), or a hydroxybenzoic acid salt. Solvent components include various organic compounds and also carbon dioxide. For 36 binary systems, sufficient data are available to allow critical evaluation.

Kinetic data published in peer-reviewed literature over the period 1988-2007 for H radical reactions with molecules and ions derived from inorganic and organic solutes in aqueous solution have been critically reviewed. Rate constants for over 250 reactions, as studied by pulse radiolysis, end-product analysis, and other methods, have been tabulated.
