Battino et al.1 provided equations for solubility of nitrogen and air in several liquids. A correction is needed to the unit of pressure in Eq. (11) in Ref. 1 on p. 570 for N2 solubility in water:where τ = 0.01T. Temperature (T) is in Kelvin and for pressure (P), the unit is stated to be MPa. But our analysis below shows that it should be bar. This equation is recommended for high pressure and at temperatures above 350 K.
