Publisher’s Note: “The $C1s$ and $N1s$ near edge x-ray absorption fine structure spectra of five azabenzenes in the gas phase” [J. Chem. Phys. 128, 044316 (2008)]

This article was originally published online on 31 January 2008 with incorrect sentences in the abstract and Sec. VI. The fifth sentence of the abstract should have read: “The remaining resonances below the ionization potential (IP) are associated to $σ$ or $π$ orbitals with mixed valence/Rydberg character.” The third sentence of Sec. VI should have read: “The remaining resonances below the respective IP’s are associated to $σ$ or $π$ orbitals with mixed valence/Rydberg character.” AIP apologizes for these errors. All online versions of the article were corrected on 4 February 2008; the article was correct as it appeared in the printed version of the journal.
