The information contents of the HeI photoelectron spectroscopy (PES) are emphasized first. The second band of the PE spectrum of the radical is attributed to electron ionization of the orbital leading to the triplet state 3E″ of the cation, and it is never corresponding to the excited state of the cation. A nonoverlapping between the second PES band of radical and the PES band centered on 13.02 eV for the is clearly seen from expanded PE spectrum recorded by the pyrolysis of pure So a best PE spectrum of the radical was recorded by us until now.
