Erratum: “Near-infrared measurement of water temperature near a 1-mm-diameter magnetic sphere and its heat generation rate under induction heating” [J. Appl. Phys. 122, 044901 (2017)]

In Sec. II A of the above published paper,¹ we showed α = 4.1 × 10⁻³K⁻¹mm⁻¹ and α_f = 4.0 × 10⁻³K⁻¹mm⁻¹. However, these values were incorrect. We mistakenly put the values used for the wavelength of 1412 nm. The correct values for 1150 nm in this paper are 2.9 × 10⁻⁴K⁻¹mm⁻¹ and 2.8 × 10⁻⁴K⁻¹mm⁻¹, respectively. These corrections do not affect the results because the correct values were used in the calculation.
