The selected papers from the 11th National Congress on Fluid Mechanics of China cover topics such as turbulent flow, flow instability and transition, multiphase flow, flow in porous media, micro- and nanofluid mechanics, compressible flow, viscous and non-Newtonian flow, vortex dynamics, electrical and magnetic effects in fluid flow, fluid–structure interactions, free surface flows, geophysical flow, computational fluid dynamics, and machine learning etc. The contributions from 20 institutes in China reflect the recent progress in fundamental and applied research in fluid mechanics.
