50th Anniversary Reviews
The Journal of Physical and Chemical Reference Data (JPCRD) was first published in 1972 through the National Standard Reference Data System of the National Bureau of Standards (which became the National Institute of Standards and Technology, NIST, in 1988). Today, it is a joint effort between NIST and AIP Publishing. To mark Volume 50 of JPCRD (2021) and the 50th anniversary of the first issue (2022), we have commissioned a series of 50th Anniversary Reviews. These articles provide comprehensive, up-to-date reviews of areas of scientific reference data that have been featured in JPCRD through the decades.
