Advances in Processing and Structural Characterization of Complex Soft Matter

Soft matter or easily deformable materials, such as polymers, colloids, gels, and liquid crystals, are increasingly more complex. This complexity is driven by the multifunctionality required for a myriad of applications, including therapeutic delivery, wearable electronics, and soft robotics. Understanding the connections between material complexity and performance requires significant innovations in processing and structural characterization.
