The problem of plotting closed field lines is considered. To achieve fast and accurate plotting, the local curvature of the field lines must be taken into account. A simple formalism is presented that allows a high degree of precision to be achieved, as demonstrated for the case of a circular field line. Plots of the electronic charge and electronic current distribution of a partially coherent H(n=3) atom are shown as examples.
