Applied Physics Reviews congratulates Associate Editor Jagadish Chennupati for receiving the Companion of the Order of Australia (AC), Australia's highest civilian honor.
Jagadish has been recognized for eminent service to physics and engineering, particularly in the field of nanotechnology, to education as a leading academic, researcher, author and mentor, and through executive roles with national and international scientific advisory institutions.
Jagadish has also been selected by the Optical Society (OSA) Board of Directors as the 2016 recipient of the Nick Holonyak, Jr. Award for pioneering and sustained contributions to quantum-well, quantum-dot, and nanowire electronic devices and their integration.


Applied Physics Reviews is happy to announce that Associate Editor Siegfried Bauer has been elevated to IEEE Fellow as of 2016 for his "contributions to the understanding and application of electroactive polymer dielectrics." Congratulations Siegfried!

Applied Physics Reviews congratulates Associate Editor Jagadish Chennupati for being selected as recipient of the IEEE Photonics Society (IPS) 2015 Engineering Achievement Award "For pioneering and sustained contributions to compound semiconductor quantum well, quantum dot, and nanowire optoelectronic devices and their integration.” The presentation will be made during the Awards Ceremony of the 2015 IEEE Photonics Conference (IPC) at the Hyatt Regency Reston, Reston, Virginia, USA, on Monday, 5 October 2015.
