This research aimed to study the potential of agricultural materials as fuel briquettes and the factors affecting fuel briquette properties. The study's results may be utilized as recommendations for the manufacture of fuel briquettes from agricultural wastes converted to alternative energy. Briquette production can increase the income for farmers and reduce agricultural waste burning. The agricultural waste materials used in this study were rice husks and tobacco stalks. The effects of biomass types and densification conditions on density, moisture content, durability, compressive resistance, lower heating value (LHV), and ash content were studied. It was found that density, durability, water resistance, compressive strength, and LHV of the fuel briquettes were around 650-950 kg/m3, 54-99%, 20-90%, 0.1-4.5 kg/cm2, 2737- 4352 Cal/g, 0.55-17.45%, respectively.
