The patients with Chronic Kidney Disease (CKD) may develop multiple complications. Anemia is a common and important complication especially in chronic uremia. CKD is ranked – 5rdamongst life threatening disease in Iraq, the death rate in 2015 of about 6879 patients because of renal failure according to the statistics of the Republic of Iraqi-Ministry of Health/Environment. Females patients had slightly higher mortality rates (6.9/3163) than male (6.1/3716). This study was carried out to observe the haematological changes and Biochemical indices in patients suffering from Chronic Kidney Disease to compare with Health group. This study was conducted at Hemodialysis department / Hospital in AL-Furat Al-Awsat governorates during the period from December 2018 to April 2019.Blood samples were collected from 208 chronic Kidney diseases patients undergoing hemodialysis before dialysis sessions. A questionnaire was used to collect some information about the patients and the samples. The statistical analysis showed a significant decrease (P≤0.05) in mean of Red blood cells (RBCs), Hemoglobin concentration (Hb) and packed cells volume (PCV) in CKD patients compared to the normal group. Moreover, a significant increase (P≤0.05) in platelet (PLT) in patients of as compared with healthy group. On the other hand, highly significant increase (P≤0.001) in white blood cells (WBC) levels in CKD patients as paralleled with their associated healthy group. The statistical analysis highly significant increase in serum levels of creatinine, Blood urea, Albumin and Phosphate levels in CKD patients as paralleled with healthy groups (P≤0.001). While as, showed significant decrease (P≤0.05) in mean of [Na], [Cl] in CKD patients compared to the healthy group. Moreover, the result refers to a significant increase (P≤0.05) in, [K] in CKD patients of as paralleled with healthy group.
