The synthesis of precipitated CaCO3 to obtain high-quality products was still widely carried out both in terms of phase, morphology, and particle size. The main object of this study was to analyze the effect of Ca(OH)2 concentrations on product precipitated CaCO3 using the carbonation method. Ca(OH)2 slurry is made with various concentrations of 0.5 M, 1 M and 1.5 M, and the CO2 flow rate is 8 L/min. X-Ray Diffraction, Fourier Transform Infra Red, and Scanning Electron Microscope test were carried out to analyze properties of PCC. The PCC crystalline phase at all concentrations is all calcite with rhombohedral cubic morphology. FTIR spectra were also observed for the presence of CaCO3 groups characterized by 712 cm−1. The difference in the concentration of Ca(OH)2, which has no significant effect on the crystal phase and morphology of PCC.
