The article is devoted to the technological schemes of vibration shock treatment of crankshafts, providing effective strengthening of the surface layer of the main (bearing) journals and crankpin journals, as well as stabilization of the stress state of the shaft. An analytical model was established, that allows to evaluate the effect of vibro-impact hardening on the warping of crankshafts. The results of experimental studies of the surface layers stress state of crankpin journals and main journals are presented.
