The paper presents the experimental tests results of aluminum alloy EN AW-5754 sample strength. The test specimens were made of metal sheet with a thickness 3.9 mm. The tinware joining process was carried out based on the method 131 for two different welding parameters. The first set of welding parameters (option A): voltage U = 25 V, current intensity I = 160 A, linear welding speed v = 400 mm/min, coefficient k = 0.8, linear welding energy Q = 1280 kJ/mm. The second set of welding parameters (option B): voltage U = 13.5 V, current I = 140 A, linear welding speed v = 62 mm/min, coefficient k = 0.6, linear welding energy Q = 70.3 kJ/mm. The obtained experimental results shows that the welding parameters choice by the method 131 did not affect the strength properties of the joints (including the yield point value Sy0.2). However, it influenced the elongation of the sample A.
