The In2S3 thin films and powders are obtained via chemical bath deposition method. The structure, composition and morphology of deposited and thermally treated films in an atmosphere of inert gases are investigated. The specific surface area and fractal dimension of the surface of the films are also under discuss. The materials were studied with the use of atomic force microscopy, raster microscopy, X-ray phase analysis, energy dispersive X-ray analysis and nitrogen thermal desorption methods.
