In 2018 KYMA S.r.l. has built six CHESS Compact Undulators (CCU) that will be used in Cornell Electron Storage Ring upgrade. This type of undulator is a cost efficient, fixed gap, adjustable phase ID. It has been developed in Cornell for Cornell High Energy Synchrotron Source, but it can be used elsewhere as well.
