The paper aims to present the results achieved by students from the Naval Academy in Varna, who worked on a project of the educational program Simulation Exploration Experience (SEE) of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) for the development of distributed simulations of missions to the Moon. A conceptual design for a Lunar port located in the Aitken Basin on the far side of the Moon, spaceship and 3D models of objects were developed. The process of programming and visualizing objects in NASA’s simulation environment is described.
