The design and the size of school furniture often obtain less attention. The dimensions are usually constructed without considering the anthropometry of the users. Meanwhile, the tasks and activities undertaken during the use of product should be involved in the design process. The aim of the study was to define the size of school chair and the target users using anthropometry data. We conducted the anthropometric measurements on elementary school children to match the product size and its users. Three different groups of school children were measured and statistical analysis of Mann-Whitney test was done to analyze the mean difference of the measured data (popliteal height). It resulted in a significance level of 0.004 (<0.05), meaning that the mean difference is significant between the groups of subjects. Therefore, we recommend that the size of school chair should be adjusted for each group or class.
