This paper presents the results of thermal calculation in a branch pipe cavity of Doroshevsky’s hydrant under conditions of extremely low temperatures of the Far North. The computational calculations show that the heat-conducting rod welded to the pressure disc of a valve protects water from freezing in the branch cavity and the valve of the hydrant.
