The goal of this article is the comparison of two numerical simulations results. Both numerical simulations are performed for the synthetic jet with vortex roll-up in the same regime with Re = 898 and St = 19.7. One numerical simulation is designed as an axisymmetric 2D problem [2] and the other one is created as a 3D problem. The main point of interest in this paper is the vortex street like the structure of traveling vortex ring. The velocity of traveling vortex is evaluated during one period from start to end of vortex formation. The vortexes are identified by using residual vorticity method. The comparison between experimental data and numerical simulation is done for centerline velocity.
