The environmental feedback loop could be a crucial condition for the specie population resilience. In most cases, such a loop could be determined through the environmental temperature and supply of available resources. Here, we present a resource competition model for species populations with environmental feedback. We find the conditions when the environmental feedback loop in this model may destroy the equilibrium in population; increase species abundances; and lead to biomass loss.
