The decays of charmed mesons can provide valuable information about hadron physics and espectroscopy. D‐meson hadronic decays proceed mainly through resonant intermediate states. To study these processes, amplitude analysis techniques have been widely used. Here we present some results on this subject coming from Fermilab experiments E791 and FOCUS. In particular, we present studies of the ππ and Kπ S‐wave systems from 3‐ and 4‐body D‐meson decays.
