The Irrigation Advisory Service (IAS) from Albacete (Spain) evaluates DEMETER and shows the principal opportunities and problems found in the new tool: the connection IAS with the application, the importance of the information supplied by the Service and the initially less important connection application‐farmers. It obtains the conclusion that DEMETER provides a powerful tool for supplementing traditional IAS.
