Recent results from the CLEO and CUSB detectors at the Cornell Electron‐Positron Storage Ring (CESR) are summarized. These experiments study Upsilon production and decay in e+e experiments. Decays of B mesons produced at the Υ(4S) provide an excellent means of investigating weak interactions. The data are compatible with the ‘‘standard model’’ and rule out many exotic models. Decays and transitions between the narrow Upsilons, Υ(1S), Υ(2S) and Υ(3S), provide a means of testing ideas and parameters related to Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD).
