We have studied the isospin mixing in self‐conjugate nuclei 32S, 36Ar, 44Ti, 60Zn by comparing measured and calculated high‐energy γ‐ray spectra from the statistical decay of N=Z and neighboring N≠Z compound nuclei formed in heavy‐ion reactions at similar excitation energies. The isospin mixing probability in those nuclei at excitation energy around 50 MeV was extracted. It seems to increase with increasing A and Z.
