Twistor methods are suitable to describe Yang‐Mills instantons which receive corrections from string theory in powers of α′. The description of full fledged Yang‐Mills fields can be also addressed through twistor methods. In this paper a stable brane configuration describing naturally the set up involved in the Witten‐Isenberg‐Yasskin‐Green correspondence, is presented. This gives the first steps towards a description of this correspondence in string theory.
