1-D numerical model with a detailed description of the evolution of cloud particles (CP) (drops, crystals, cloud nuclei, etc.) is used to study formation and development of suppercooled mixed frontal clouds over the Antarctic Peninsula on 02.04.98. Outputs of 3-D nowcasting limited area model (LAM) based on rawinsonde data of Bellingshausen station are used as initial data for 1-D forecasting microphysical model. Thermodynamical conditions in the troposphere are continuously updated as the system moved over the initial point in 1-D simulation. A set of equations is used to simulate the evolution of the processes of condensation, nucleation, freezing, sedimentation, accretion, collection, etc. Frontal clouds are simulated under different intensity of CP generation on CCN and IN. Relationships between these two processes and optimal parameters for realization of the whole cloud moisture were found.
