What do physicists do in a large community college? Available to Purchase

The proliferation and growth of community colleges in the last few years has led to an increasing number of physicists both in teaching and other activities in these schools. Some of the career choices which faculty and students in our Physics/Engineering Dept. have made in the last few years will be summarized. The advancement of some of our physics faculty to administrative and counseling positions on campus will be included. A brief description of new socially‐oriented courses offered by the Physics/Engineering Dept. will be given.
