This research paper examines the role of virtual reality (VR) in enhancing English language acquisition. The objective of the study is to explore the effectiveness of VR as a tool for improving language learning outcomes and to identify its potential implications in educational contexts. The methodology employed involves a comprehensive review of existing literature and studies on the topic, as well as the analysis of empirical data collected through surveys and interviews with language learners and educators. The key findings of this research indicate that VR can significantly enhance English language acquisition by providing immersive and interactive learning experiences. It facilitates language practice in realistic and engaging virtual environments, promotes learner autonomy, and fosters motivation and engagement. Moreover, VR enables personalized and adaptive learning, catering to individual needs and preferences. The implications of these findings suggest that integrating VR into language education can revolutionize traditional language learning approaches, making language acquisition more effective, engaging, and accessible for learners of diverse backgrounds. This research contributes to the growing body of knowledge on the potential of VR technology in language education and provides insights for educators, policymakers, and developers in implementing and utilizing VR effectively in language learning environments.
