This study was conducted to investigate the effect of the chemical components of to two types of commercial and local dried Ganoderma Lucidum on laboratory mice with experimentally induced diabetes using alloxan. Various biochemical and physiological parameters were measured. The results showed that both types of Ganoderma Lucidum had rich chemical content and active substances that significantly reduced the blood sugar levels of the treated groups compared to the positive control group (p<0.05). The concentration of the commercial extract and dried mushroom used was 300 mg/kg, resulting in reductions of 60.209 and 40.211, respectively, compared to the positive control group (20.374). The treated groups also exhibited significant weight gain (p≤0.05) compared to the positive control group, with values of 254.80 and 20.724, respectively, compared to 225.20. Furthermore, there were significant decreases in liver enzymes, oxidative enzymes, kidney function, and low-density lipoprotein levels in the treated groups compared to the positive control group. The results also showed a significant increase in high-density protein fat in the treated groups compared to the positive control group.
