To create a biodiesel catalyst based on saponins found in Carica papaya leaves and evaluate its performance in comparison to chemical catalysis using bases like NaOH and KOH. Procedures and materials: The maceration extraction method, which involves distilled water and powdered Carica papaya (papaya) leaves, simplified the saponin extraction process. The biodiesel synthesis was regulated by the saponin-based biocatalyst. There were three separate groups in this research, and each one had seven samples with a 95% confidence interval. For all categories, the G power was 80%. The results demonstrated that there were 10 milligrammes of saponin per gramme in the papaya leaf sample. The yield of the biodiesel production method was at 63.4% as well. In addition, the independent variable was identified as statistically significant with a p value of 0.038 (p<0.05) according to the two tailed T tests. The amount of saponin that was eliminated was low, yet it was determined to be environmentally safe and friendly. Results: Improving productivity for wide applications is within reach with more research and developments in this area.
